Data Handling Policies
We are committed to ensuring the privacy and security of user data. Let's dive into our data handling policies, and how uploaded data is treated, processed, and stored.
Public Data Handling
Default Public Status:
All data uploaded to the Evolve WebApp is treated as public data by default. This data is integrated into the Data Hub, where it becomes part of a large vector search model accessible by agents across the network.
Vectorization of Data:
Upon upload, data is automatically vectorized according to its nature. Vectorization transforms the data into a format suitable for efficient retrieval and analysis by AI agents.
Public Data Usage:
The Data Hub aggregates public datasets, enabling all users to leverage this information in their agentic workflows. Users should avoid uploading sensitive information to the Data Hub, as it will be accessible to other users and agents.
Private Data Handling
Local Node Version:
Users who require privacy for their data can use the local node version of the Evolve platform. In the local node version, data remains on the user's local machine and is not shared with the network.
This setup allows users to build and manage their agentic workflows using their own data without exposing it to the public.
When using the local node version, all data handling, processing, and storage occur on the user's machine.
Data Scraping Policies
Access to Public Information:
Evolve Network’s data scraping tools are designed to access and retrieve only public information from the internet.
These tools are activated upon user request to add more context to their agentic workflows.
User Requests:
Users can specify the type of information they need, and the scraping tools will gather relevant public data to enhance the workflow context.
The collected data is then vectorized and integrated into the user’s workflow.
Compliance with Legal Standards:
All data scraping activities comply with relevant legal standards and respect the terms of service of the websites being crawled.
Evolve Network ensures that scraping tools do not infringe on privacy policies or access restricted or private information.
Data Hub Content Guidelines
Avoiding Sensitive Information:
Users are advised not to upload sensitive or personal information to the Data Hub. As the Data Hub serves a communal purpose, any data uploaded can be retrieved and used by other agents in the network.
Community Monitoring:
Evolve community is encouraged to monitor the Data Hub and report any inappropriate or sensitive data uploads. Evolve Network may take action to remove such data to maintain the integrity and safety of the Data Hub.
